Acrylic or Styrene Sheets for use as Fluorescent Light diffusers primarily in false ceilings.
Styrene is about half the cost of acrylic but we yellow after two or three years and is quite brittle. Acrylic on the other hand has been used to glaze boats and planes since the middle of the last century so its well tested both indooors and out and will keep a clearer glass type look about it for many years.
A clever and well proven method of fixing plastic sheeting to window frames for effective secondary glazing. One half is a narrow rubberised magnetic tape and the other half is a steel shim. Stick the rubber tape around the edges of the plastic and the steel shim around the window frame. It is then easy to remove the panels for ventilation or cleaning.
A selection of thin polycarbonate sheets with a huge variety of applications indoor and out.
Sheet sizes are 2mtr x 1.25mtr or 7' x 4' in old money. The beauty of this sheeting is that apart from being virtually indestructable it can be bent by hand without any stress marks, it can be rolled without risk of shattering and it can be cut easily with a good pair of scissors.
This makes it ideal for Modelling, kraft work, protecting wallcoverings and notice boards, cloches in the garden or on the allotment as stones will not break this stuff. In schools, hospitals, care homes and surgeries to stop the backs of chairs rubbing along a wall. Picture framing where glass is inpractical or a shed window, perhaps repairing the greenhouse. Etc. etc.
A Tough UV Stabilised Semi Rigid Clear PVC Sheeting available in two thicknesses. Ideal for cold frames, greenhouse repairs, model making, school and college projects, shed windows, laying on maps or documents and so much more.
